Martin C. Willey, aged 68 years, who died Saturday morning at his home in Waterbury center, was a veteran of the Civil War, enlisted in Company A, 8th Vt., September 23, 1861; re-enlisted January 5, 1864; was made corporal May 9, 1865; was mustered out of service June 28, 1865.
