Funeral of J. B. Mudgett Held at the Methodist Churchill

The funeral of James B. Mudgett was held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist Church, the Rev. W. E. Douglass officiating. Mr. Mudgett, who was 73 years old, was born in Sutton, Que., and had resided here for more than 50 years. He enlisted from Berkshire in Company A, 5th Vermont Vols., and served as orderly sergeant three years of the Civil War. He is survived by his wife, one son, Fred Mudgett of this place and one daughter, Mrs. Stephen Impey of Everett, Mass.
