Death of Former Bennington Man

News has been received of the death of Frederick C. Rogers, a well known former resident of Bennington, at his home in Erie, Pa., Saturday. Mr. Rogers, who was a son of the late Jonathan Rogers, was born in Bennington in 1838. During the Civil war he was a member of Co. A, 4th Vt. Vols. He was a member of George A. Custer Sixth Corps Post of Bennington. He is survived by his wife and one daughter and by a sister, Mrs. Hiram Bingham, of Bennington.
