Obituary
MONTPELIER
Death of Louis W. Porter, After Long Illness.
Louis W. Porter died Thursday at his home on College street, at the age of 74 years. His death was caused by chronic bronchitis and complications. Mr. Porter was born in Fairfax and moved from there to Worcester, where he lived until about a year ago, when he came to Montpelier. He was a Civil war veteran and member of Brooks post of this city. The funeral will be conducted from his late home tomorrow afternoon, Rev. J.E. Wright officiating.
