Funeral of Frank Rood
The funeral of Frank Rood, age 81 years, a veteran of the Civil war, who died Saturday at his home after a critical illness of a week, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church, Rev. Harvey Connor officiating.
He is survived by a son, Harry Rood, and a daughter, Miss Mary Rood, both of Poultney with whom he made his home.
The bearers were A. E. Horton, Rodney Ellis, C. M. Cole, William Kelley, Frank Kilbourn and E. C. Ripley. The funeral was largely attended by Masons.
