New York Times
Mar. 25, 1910Gen. Windsor B. French, civil war veteran, died yesterday at his home in Saratoga after a long illness in his seventy-ninth year. He was born in Windsor, Vt., and was a graduate of Tufts College and a member of Theta Delta Chi fraternity. During the war he commanded the Seventy-ninth (sic) Regiment New York Volunteers.
