The remains of I. C. Smith, who died at Barton Landing May 22, were taken to Brownington Center for burial on Sunday last. Mr. Smith was a Civil War veteran, having served in Co. I, 15th regiment Vermont volunteers. He leaves one son, H. B. Smith of Barton Landing, and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. He was a man of sterling integrity and much respected by all who knew him.
