James Ormando Smith passed away last week Saturday from the effects of a shock experienced about six weeks ago. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday at 2 o'clock and was largely attended by relatives and friends and by the different orders of which he was a member. He was a member and past commander of Henry Post, G. A. R., and a past noble grand of the local lodge of I. O. O. F. Mr. Smith was about 73 years of age.
