John S. Spaulding, who died last Saturday night, was born in Weathersfield in 1811. He had lived in this town about 25 years. He was somewhat pecuriaer in his ways, but a man of great industry, working diligently at his woodpile until withing a few days of his death. He had five children by his first wife, all of whom are dead.
