VERGENNES

Death of Franklin F. Adams, Veteran of War for Union.

Vergennes, Jan. 7. Franklin F. Adams died Tuesday evening from hardening of the arteries, aged 77 years. Mr. Adams was born and had always resided here. He was a soldier in the Civil War. He is survived by two brothers, Paulus N. Adams of this city and Harry Adams of Wisconsin, three sisters, Mrs. Frances Clark, Mrs. Helen Kellogg and Mrs. Julia Kellogg of Madison, Wis.
