Wm. Austin was admitted to the Soldiers' Home from Pittsford Monday. He was 65 years of age, served during the rebellion in Company F, 5th Vermont Volunteers. He was in poor health when he reached the home and died Tuesday afternoon. A sister came this afternoon and the funeral was held at 1:30 this afternoon.
