Loren Ayer, who lived at J. B. Ripley's died very suddenly last Wednesday morning. He has been in poor health for some time. The funeral services Sunday were conducted by the Masonic lodges of East Burke and Lyndon. Mr. and Mrs. Ayer moved here from East Burke last spring to live with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Ripley. He leaves a wife and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. Interment was at East Burke.
