Charles Belden, aged 78 years, died at his home Sept. 15. He was a veteran of the war. He had been sick for the last five months. He leaves a wife and six children, three who were in the west and unable to attend the funeral. Rev. E. W. Hallowell officiated. Burial was in Calvin cemetery. Mrs. Belden will make her home with her daughter, Mrs. John Goodro.
