Old Timer Dies

Charles w. Blackburn, one of the pioneers of Cochise county, died yesterday at his home on Chihuahua Hill at the age of 75 years. He was one of the pioneers of Tombstone and was engaged in the harness business there and also in this city and was one of the first undertakers here. He also was engaged in the mining business. He is survived by a widow and six children, three sons, and three daughters. The children are Mrs. John Scottof Warren, Mrs. W. T. Tuypper of San Diego, Mrs. N. Jejia of Sinaloa, Mex., and Will, Albert, and Frank Blackburn of this city. The funeral will be held at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Scott at Warren, Rev. J. E. Frey officiating. interment will be in Evergreen
