Obituary

Death at Soldiers' Home

The body of Gilman W. Blood, who died Monday night, December 25, at the soldiers' home in Bennington, was taken to Rutland for burial. The deceased, who was admitted to the home from Burlington in October was 63 years old. During the Civil War he served in Co. D, 8th Vt. Vols. His is the 184th death that has occurred at the institution.
