AZERO BOWEN
One of Few Remaining Civil War Veterans Answers Call.
Randolph. Aug. 4. - A.Zero Bowen, 95, one of the few remaining Civil war veterans in this vicinity, died at 2:30 yesterday afternoon in the Thayer brook neighborhood two and one half miles from this village. Mr. Bowen has been a very active farmer during his reclining years. His wife died a few years ago. One daughter, Violet, and two sons, Kenneth and Haskell, survive him, residing at home.
