Uniform Buttons
The first two buttons are from the Post War of 1812 to 1830 Period. Reference numbers are made to both Albert's and Tice's books on Military Buttons:
VT2 - Albert's VT2/Tice VT100 - Vermont Militia, one piece - Aaron Peasley of Boston restruck these buttons over civilian buttons between 1810-1823. Backmark: A.M. Peasley Boston (this is the most difficult of all Vermont buttons to find)
VT3 - Albert's VT3/Tice VT105 - Vermont Militia, one piece, Sheffield rolled silver plated copper, ca. 1820, Backmark: *Best Double* Plated
SU287 - Albert's 287/ Tice VT250 - One piece Coat & Cuff examples of Norwich University ca. 1835, Backmark: *Robinsons*Extra
VT4 - Albert's VT4/Tice VT200 - Vermont Militia, Infantry, flat one piece (Vermont adopted these between 1842-44 for official Militia use. Backmark: R.W. Robinson Attleborough***Extra***Rich
