42nd ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE
LADIES OF THE GRAND ARMY
OF THE REPUBLIC
Department Headquarters, Hotel Brooks
Business Sessions -- Methodist Church

THURSDAY, JUNE 23rd

Department Headquarters will be established at Hotel Brooks, where all members will be welcomed. Business sessions will be held at the Methodist Church parlors.

Registration Committee: Alice Snow and Alice Valliere. Register and receive your Convention Badge. Fee 25c.

The Council of Administration: Genevieve Millard, Vera Louis and Maude Quinn. Please meet at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 23rd, to audit books.

The Credential Committee: Mary St. Cyr and Emma LaFrenier. Please meet at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 23rd. Please see that correct credential lists are in the hands of the Department Secretary before Convention starts at 1:30 P.M.

Convention Appointments: Conductor, Alice Snow; Assistant Conductor, Vera Louis; Guards, Alice Valliere and Genevieve Millard.

All Circle Presidents: Please send Quarterly Reports with per capita tax to Department Secretary, Laura Paro; also, Circle Flag Fund and Ways and Means Fund must be in by June 1st.

Convention will open at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, June 23rd, to hear reports of Department Officers and Circle Presidents, and to transact as much business as convenient, to avoid a crowded day Friday.

Our National President Edna M. Ray hopes to be with us for this Convention. She has promised that National will be represented this year.

Friday, June 24th, meeting will open at 9:00 A.M. All officers please wear white.

Memorial Service will be conducted by Coy J. B. Meade Circle No. 1 of Barre. Sister Mary St. Cyr in charge.

Greeting Committee will be sent to and received from Allied Organizations from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon.

12:00 o'clock noon -- recess for lunch.

1:15 P.M. Ritualistic work will be exemplified by James A. Garfield Circle No. 4 of Burlington.

New business, election of officers, delegates, and alternates, installation of officers, closing ceremony.

Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic will present a flag to the Essex Junction High School. Presentation to be made by Department Patriotic Instructor, Florence Greenough.

Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic will march with the allied organizations on Friday night before the Camp Fire.
